It pays to be a HEFCU member! With the HEFCU Rewards program, the more products and services you use, the more you can save and earn. As a cooperative, the credit union thrives when members actively participate and utilize the credit union for all their financial needs. Engaged, loyal members will benefit from rewards such as waived foreign ATM withdrawal fees, free checks, waived IRA account annual fees and free Stop Payment requests.
How It Works
There are three reward levels in the program; based upon a member's combined loan and deposit balance. The combined balance on the last day of a month determines your reward level, and benefits, for the following month.
Gold
Aggregate Deposit & Loan
Balance of $25,000 or higher
Silver
Aggregate Deposit & Loan
Balance of $5,000 - $24,999
Bronze
Aggregate Deposit & Loan
Balance of Less Than $5,000
Here are some ways you can deepen your relationship with the credit union and increase your rewards level:
- Direct Deposit your paycheck into a HEFCU Checking with no monthly fee
- Consolidate debt into a fixed-rate personal loan
- Move your auto loan to HEFCU
- Open a HEFCU Visa and transfer higher-rate balances
- Open a high-yield Money Market to ramp up your savings

Requirements and rewards subject to change at any time and at the sole discretion of the credit union. The combined balance on the last day of each month determines the member's rewards level for the following month. Your rewards level will appear on your HEFCU Statement. For example, if your aggregate deposit and loan balance on July 31 is $12,000 then your rewards level for the month of August will be Silver.
